January Green Smoothie with Spinach

A happy January smoothie … Spinach is packed with valuable minerals like calcium and magnesium but in the same tine is low on calories. We have the Vitamin C from the lemon and oranges, the omega 3 from the pumpkin seeds … The cinnamon powder has anti inflammatory effect and it it delicious … Cashew for healthy fats, proteins and of course the silky texture … And if it is already green the mint leaves will blend in perfectly :)

The smoothie

Put all ingredients in the blender starting with the liquid ones. Blend them at medium high speed for about one minute. Depending on the blender you use you might blend a few more seconds until you get a silky texture … Enjoy :)

INGREDIENTS - for one big smoothie

  • Organic / Best you can get spinach or baby spinach - 100 grams

  • Organic / Best you can get rice drink - 100 ml

  • Organic / Best you can get raw pumpkin seeds - 10 grams

  • Organic / Best you can get raw cashew - 10 grams

  • Organic / Best you can get bananas - 1 medium small banana

  • Organic / Best you can get fresh lemon juice - 1 table spoon or a half lemon squeeze

  • Organic / Best you can get oranges - 100 grams or one peeled medium orange

  • Organic / Best you can get cinnamon powder - 1/2 tea spoon

  • Organic / Best you can get mint leaves - 5-6  fresh mint leaves or 1/2 tea spoon of dried mint leaves
